Welcome from the President

I would like to extend a warm welcome to our newly formed Cranleigh Village branch of the Women's Institute representing women from the surrounding area of Cranleigh Village in the Parish of Waverley, Surrey. We meet every 1st Thursday of the month in The Band Room, Village Way, Cranleigh, GU6 8AT. The meeting starts at 8.00 pm and finishes at 10.00 pm. Parking is available in the adjacent Car Park opposite the Cranleigh Leisure Centre.  Parking is free from 6.00 pm onwards.  There is good lighting in the Car Park and access to the Band Room is well lite during the evening.

Our group consist of women from all walks of life either working full or part time or perhaps doing voluntary work within the local community.  We also have full time mothers and ladies who have now retired.  So, if you are in need of some company or if like myself you are new to the area and looking to make new friends please come and join us.  We can guarantee tea and coffee are always a priority together with friendly banter, witty conversation and most importantly a great deal of laughter and fun will be had by all.

If you want to more about us have a look at the website. You can use our Contact Us page to send us a message.  A member of the Committee will get back to you as quickly as we can.

Alternatively, have a look at the Guest Speakers page for details of our next Speaker who will be visiting the group.  Check the Events page which has a full list of the meeting dates, make sure you put them in your diary.  The Surrey Federation of WIs (SFWI) offer a wide range of course over the course of the year.  A detailed list can be found under SWFI Courses & Price List.

And finally, check out our Facebook, and Twitter pages we would love to hear from you via either of these links.

Kind regards

Carolyn Tween, President
